How SICK-LESS came to be
A personal story...
My father struggled with COPD for many years, to the point that he was a candidate for a double lung transplant. Through his connections in the lung transplant community, he witnessed firsthand how even a minor virus, like a cold, could lead to hospitalization. This was a result of the immunosuppressive drugs transplant recipients must take to prevent organ rejection, which also weakens the immune system. Always proactive about his health, my father began researching ways to minimize his risk of infection. That’s when he discovered the benefits of hydrolyzed colloidal silver. He started using it regularly, and, to this day—over 3 years later—he has not been hospitalized for an infection.
Learn About Silver
Silver has been extensively studied for its many benefits, with its historical applications documented for thousands of years. Recently, there has been renewed interest in silver—not only for its medicinal properties but also for its diverse range of modern uses.
One of the most advanced forms of silver is SICKLESS Hydrolyzed Silver, which uses silver ions with a micron size of 0.0008. These tiny particles can effectively target pathogens by seeking out the electrical charge of viruses, bacteria, or fungi. Once the silver particles find a match, they penetrate the pathogen binding to the DNA of the micro-organism. This promotes the growth of hydroxyl radical essentially over oxidizing the cell causing death and preventing reproduction.
What is colloidal silver?
Colloidal silver can refer to many forms of silver nanoparticles suspended in a solution, typically purified water. SICK-LESS is a type of colloidal silver that consists mostly of silver ions with very few silver particles in the solution, typically below 5%. The silver particles in the solution are so small and positively charged that they don't settle in the solution or interact with each other. That is why SICK-LESS is clear. Silver ions do not reflect light where nanoparticles of silver do, usually giving the solution a yellowish tint.
To help prevent infections during cold and flu season, spray your nose and mouth as directed on the bottle before attending large family gatherings or spending time in public places. It also acts as an effective hand sanitizer, offering protection in high-traffic environments.
Beyond these uses, colloidal silver has many applications in healthcare. Burn centers use it to aid in the healing of burns due to its antimicrobial properties. Crocs has integrated silver threads into the toes of their shoes to benefit diabetics, and silver-infused stitches are commonly used in wound care to promote faster healing. Additionally, consuming silver can help support gut health and accelerate the healing process from within.
This growing body of evidence highlights the versatility of silver, not just as a medical tool, but as a practical solution in everyday life.
How is it made?
Typically produced through electrolysis, where an electric current is passed through silver electrodes submerged in purified water. This process releases silver ions into the water.
What are some of the benefits of using Sick-Less?
Antibacterial & Antimycotic: Silver ions can disrupt bacterial cell walls and interfere with their metabolism.
Antiviral: May prevent some viruses from attaching to host cells or replicating.
Anti-inflammatory: Some evidence suggests it may reduce inflammation.
How does it work?
Silver ions target micro-organisms by:
Binding to proteins that transport substances in and out of bacterial cells
Blocking cell division by binding to DNA
Blocking the bacterial respiratory system, which destroys the cell's energy production.
How is it used?
Silver ions are used in a variety of medical applications, including dental work, catheters, and the healing of burn wounds, just to name a few. Silver ions (Ag+) are also effective water disinfectants.
Is it safe?
Silver ions are relatively low toxicity to human cells.
Important Note: While colloidal silver has been used safely and effectively for centuries, it's crucial to remember that the FDA hasn't evaluated these claims. Not all products containing silver are created equal. Consult with a healthcare professional before using internally or on sensitive areas.
